15th December 2013 Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 13-15 Surf / Sea State: nice Air Temperature: 9.5 Sea Temperature: 9 Weather: cloud n drizzle Max Speed: 20.7 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 3.5 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Down about mid-day and waited for wind to appear. Looked grey and grim. Rigged 6m/96l. Sea was smooth 3 foot rollers, very nice but not quite enough wind so after a few runs had walk of shame back from Golf end. Chris P and Swainey dropped in for a chat then wind came back to tried again.,coming in a couple of times to remove a bag from fin ,then seaweed; fair amount of rubbish in sea. Small shore dump ripped crisp packet sail so off to eBay. Four kiters out. Sea cold, but not as cold as expected. Didn't do much, but only fell in once and sea nice and not been out for a while so feeling good and 3* |
